Wiesentheid soon with new trainer

TSV/DJK wiesentheid, a soccer team in the district league, gets a new coach for the new season: hassan rmeithi succeeds thomas latteier in summer. In the previous year, 33-year-old rmeithi explained that he was looking for a new challenge after eight years as a coach at neighboring FC geesdorf. He has led the team from the wiesentheid district from the district league to the national league during this time. Rmeithi’s successor in geesdorf will be jannik feidel.

Youth work is an essential point

Rmeithi’s sporting future has also been clarified, and it will take him back to the place where he was active as a player before his time in geesdorf, and later as coach of the U19 team. One of the main reasons for his decision was the youth work there. He would also like to continue to place a high value on it.

Another reason he cites is the short distance from his home to the wiesentheid sports grounds. "We have had good talks with each other," says rmeithi. Although he sees his work in the long term, short-term success should take hold. For this purpose, he would like to build the team in such a way that they can play in their division. For this purpose rmeithi already announced talks with potential new recruits. "I certainly hope that the team will be able to maintain its current level."

The new one knows club and people

Latteier had previously informed the wiesentheider that he would no longer be available as coach beyond the end of the season. "That’s why we started looking and made contact with hassan after reading that he was actually staying in geesdorf," says wiesentheid’s head of the soccer department, thomas weigand. After the first two discussions, there was already broad agreement on the following points. "Since we are also focusing strongly on young people, he is the ideal person for us," says weigand. His successes in geesdorf hours for themselves. Due to his wiesentheider past rmeithi knows the club and the acting persons.
