Countries want to enforce npd ban

Countries want to enforce npd ban

The motion with which the NPD wants to have its loyalty to the constitution tested is "pure populism," lower saxony’s interior minister uwe schunemann (CDU) told the german press agency dpa on wednesday. Meanwhile, the federal office for the protection of the constitution announced that it would step up the fight against violent right-wing extremism.

Schunemann sees the NPD’s application as "a purely tactical exchange maneuver with which the party wants to exert influence on the banning procedure". "We must not let ourselves be influenced, but we must now implement what we have agreed upon."

Wiesentheid soon with new trainer

Wiesentheid soon with new trainer

TSV/DJK wiesentheid, a soccer team in the district league, gets a new coach for the new season: hassan rmeithi succeeds thomas latteier in summer. In the previous year, 33-year-old rmeithi explained that he was looking for a new challenge after eight years as a coach at neighboring FC geesdorf. He has led the team from the wiesentheid district from the district league to the national league during this time. Rmeithi’s successor in geesdorf will be jannik feidel.

Youth work is an essential point

Rmeithi’s sporting future has also been clarified, and it will take him back to the place where he was active as a player before his time in geesdorf, and later as coach of the U19 team. One of the main reasons for his decision was the youth work there. He would also like to continue to place a high value on it.

For more cooperation and solidarity

This year the europe union can celebrate europe day on 9. May not commit as in previous years. But europe union chairman hans-dieter scherpf has written a statement on the subject, because this year will mark the 70th anniversary of the association’s founding. Anniversary of the schuman declaration celebrated. "It was a great moment of humanity and far-sightedness, and its core message has lost none of its significance", says hans-dieter scherpf, chairman of the europe union hammelburg.

"On 9.May 1950, the french minister robert schuman laid the foundation for european unification in his historical speech. With his bold idea of separating the most important raw materials of the time – coal and steel – from the former "hereditary enemies," he was able to create a new community to have germany and france administered jointly, he relied on cooperation instead of competition, on community instead of nationalism, and on trust instead of suspicion, scherpf continues. The timelessness of robert schuman’s basic idea is particularly evident now in the corona crisis, in which this anniversary falls. "Europe can’t be built in one fell swoop, and it can’t be built in one simple summary. It will be created by concrete facts that will first create a solidarity of action", schuman said in his speech. "This solidarity of action must be visible and tangible in the fight against the corona pandemic and its consequences throughout the EU", demands hans-dieter scherpf. Unfortunately, national reflexes became visible in the corona crisis, be it in one-sided border fights or initial competition in the procurement of medical supplies. "The corona pandemic, like any other global challenge, can be better met if we join forces and act together in solidarity. Corona puts the eu and the world community to a hard test. Our answer to this is: better together, emphasizes the district chairman.

Burglars enter bank through 30-meter tunnel

burglars enter bank through 30-meter tunnel

A spectacular coup has succeeded gangsters in berlin. Just like in the movies, they entered a bank branch through a 30-meter tunnel and robbed numerous safe deposit boxes there. According to initial findings, the unknown perpetrators dug the tunnel themselves, as the police announced on monday. The tunnel began with a break-through in an underground garage behind the bank, a police spokeswoman confirmed to the dpa news agency. "It was professionally set up," she said.

Police are certain that a tunnel like this cannot be dug in one night. Presumably the crime was planned for a long time. The construction could have taken days or weeks. In the night to monday, the burglars apparently managed to break through into the bank’s premises. There, the perpetrators robbed private schliebfachers, as the spokeswoman said. They were able to flee undetected with the loot – how much money the gang took was initially unclear.

The brk also comes on the bike

The brk also comes on the bike

What the bavarian red cross (BRK) does: sanitary service, water and mountain rescue, search for missing persons, care services. The new e-bike squadron has made it possible to expand the resources available for deployment even further. The volunteer members of the BRK-bereitschaft ebersdorf come on duty with their e-bikes, for example for rough events on wide-ranging land, but also for a search for people.

In february of last year, the deputy head of the district emergency response team, dennis busch, came up with the idea of setting up an e-bike squadron – for two reasons: to expand the range of operations and to make volunteering more attractive.

Enterprise on the fruit tree meadow

Enterprise on the fruit tree meadow

It tastes peculiar, the rohrles pear. No wonder. It's not meant to be eaten raw either. The small french local variety is an old cooking pear for the winter. It was considered a minor sensation when it was discovered during the bavarian-wide orchard mapping project led by martin degenbeck for the past ten years. "We thought they had disappeared for 100 years", says the employee of the bavarian state institute for viticulture and horticulture (LWG) in veitshochheim.
Only elderly people from lower franconia still have a memory of how precious fruits are. In the days when there was no mass-produced fruit from chile or new zealand in the supermarket, it was a lot of work to harvest apples and pears, to process them into compote or juice, or to cellar them. "But now, at this time of year, things were looking bleak in the basement as well", says degenbeck. There was a wait until the new fruits were ripe. Things are different today. At any time there is fruit or fruit juices of all kinds. The international commodity glut in this sector has led to the disappearance of orchard stands and old varieties. And still further disappear.

Power struggle in the dfb: professional representatives want to reform the association

Power struggle in the dfb: professional representatives want to reform the association

The sluggish handling of the national team’s world cup debacle has reopened the old rifts between amateur and professional soccer in the DFB.

For weeks, the representatives of the bundesliga clubs and their umbrella organization, the german football league (DFL), had no comment on the disgraceful failure of the german national team in the final round in russia and the disastrous handling of the erdogan affair surrounding the resignation of mesut ozil. But for a few days now – led by the attack department of the FC bayern – verbal fire has been coming out of all the pipes. The power struggle is in full swing.

Shotgun and drugs in the travel pack

Shotgun and drugs in the travel pack

"I pack my suitcase and pack: drugs and a gas pistol." This is exactly how a 29-year-old must have played the well-known mind game yesterday. Plainclothes officers of the federal police checked the train passenger on a regional express at wurzburg’s main train station. In his travel bag, the officers stumbled upon a firearm. The man was not in possession of the required weapons license and therefore had to take an involuntary break from his journey in wurzburg. At the federal police station, the federal police officers then got to the bottom of things again. The man from the upper palatinate carried a whole "drug kit" with itself. In addition to a water pipe typical of the scene and other "aids" the officers got hold of small quantities of marijuana, hashish and heroin for drug consumption.

According to his own statements, the man had just bought the narcotics at frankfurt’s main train station.
The man from the upper palatinate is now facing criminal proceedings for violating the weapons and narcotics laws.
